 This week’s book was…
Tipping the Velvet by Sarah Waters. This novel is very close to my heart but I haven’t reviewed it on the blog. Here is however a little something I wrote after listening to a podcast dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the book.

Book review: She’s Never Coming Back

That’s why I surprised myself when I decided to read a novel whose front cover prominently displays a quote describing it as a ‘terrifying crime novel’. I started to read expecting the worse and - it being impossible to put the book down - a few hours later I was trying to understand what had hit me.
