Blog tour: Good Husbands

Welcome to the blog tour for Good Husbands by Cate Ray!

More about the book…

Three women

Jess, Priyanka and Steffi live in Bath, streets away from each other. They are all wives and mothers. They've never met. But they will soon.

A letter

A stranger sends each of them the same letter. It makes a terrible accusation, and names the other women.

A dilemma

The three women realise they cannot uncover the truth without the others' help. But what if they don't agree on what to do? And if they do find out the truth, what will they decide to do about it?

My impressions…

I love a book that is centred on a dilemma, and this is a great example of how it should be done! Thanks to a great premise and an engaging writing style, I was immediately hooked. I didn’t particularly get attached to any of the three women, but I was able to put myself in their shoes and wonder what I would do.  I think this would make a good choice for a book group, especially one that doesn’t shy away from difficult topics.

Three words to describe it. Unputdownable. Thought-provoking. Engaging.

Do I like the cover? Yes, I love it!

Have I read any other books by the same author? Not yet, but hopefully soon.
