Blog tour: Everyone Here is Lying

Welcome to the blog tour for Everyone Here is Lying by Shari Lapena!

More about the book…

William Wooler is a family man, on the surface. But he's been having an affair, an affair that ended horribly this afternoon at a motel up the road. So when he returns to his house, devastated and angry, to find his difficult nine-year-old daughter Avery unexpectedly home from school, William loses his temper.

Hours later, Avery's family declare her missing.

Suddenly Stanhope doesn't feel so safe. And William isn't the only one on his street who's hiding a lie. As witnesses come forward with information that may or may not be true, Avery's neighbours become increasingly unhinged.

Who took Avery Wooler?

My impressions…

This book is ready to mess with your head. Are you ready for it? I suggest that you say yes and don’t miss on an extraordinary ride! Every time I had to unwillingly put this book down, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The chapters are relatively short and unfailingly end with a revelation that will make your jaw drop. Time permitting, this novel can be read in one sitting. There are so many plot twists and so many suspicious characters! By the end of it, I did partly guess the truth… but I also had at least ten other theories, so it had to be one of them!

Three words to describe it. Addictive. Gripping. Surprising.

Do I like the cover? Yes, I love the bold colours.

Have I read any other books by the same author? No, but I’ve been wanting to for quite some time. Now that I know how she writes, I will rectify that soon.
