My impressions…

I don’t normally read rom-coms so this book was like a breath of fresh air. It made me laugh, it made me swoon, it annoyed me at times… basically, it drew me in and didn’t let go of me until the end. I loved that the book is very character-driven – yes, every character has their flaws… but who hasn’t? I definitely recommend picking this up: it’s the perfect read to brighten up any day!

Three words to describe it. Funny. Entertaining. Original.

Do I like the cover? Yes, it’s cute.

Have I read any other books by the same author? No, this is the author’s debut novel.

That’s why I surprised myself when I decided to read a novel whose front cover prominently displays a quote describing it as a ‘terrifying crime novel’.
