My impressions…

What a lovely guide, and exactly what I needed at this point in my life. I have suffered from back pain for the best part of the last ten years, and yoga is the best medicine for it. This book contains information that is approachable, useful and is divided into clear sections for easy reference. Miranda Mattig Kumar helps us understand how the body works and how we can move it to alleviate pain. The poses are described both with pictures and words, and each of them is presented with variations for different levels of practice. This is a precious resource that I can see myself gifting to friends and family in the years to come!

Three words to describe it. Helpful. Informative. Inspiring.

Do I like the cover? Yes, it has a very peaceful vibe.

Have I read any other books by the same author? Not yet, but I’ll seek them out as I have enjoyed her way of explaining things.
